Whilst we are able, we will remain operational as normal, with our teams active on site and our head office open. As always our main priority is health and safety. We are all unsure of the potential impacts of COVID-19 however if required we have a business continuity plan in place whereby individual contacts will remain available by mobile phone and email. Are all of JCD Cleaning Staff Trained?

Training is one of the main aspects of JCD Cleaning, as there are some standard procedures that we follow to have trained and skilled staff working for us.

Whenever you hire any service, the first question comes to the mind is - are the staff trained effectively or not? This is the case with JCD Cleaning; one commonly asked question we get is - are all of your cleaning staff trained? Well, training is one of the main aspects of JCD Cleaning, as there are some standard procedures that we follow to have trained and skilled staff working for us.

Training on Task Specific Cleaning!
There is a process that we follow. Anyone who is employed by JCD Cleaning whether that be in an ongoing commercial environment or as part of our specialty cleaning teams, they will undergo task- specific training relating to jobs they are carrying out on a daily basis. There will be tasks such as - how to vacuum correctly and how to clean washrooms appropriately in a specialist environment. All this will be task-specific to what client specifies we need to carry out.

In some environments, they will be carrying out high-level tasks. And, if that is the case they’ll be trained with “high-level method” and they’ll pass certification. If they are working in the construction environment, there will be CSCS cards; which means they will have some form of training in the construction field.

JCD Cleaning is a corporate member of the British Industry Of Cleaning Sciences, and that means all our staff will go through a basic level of training that assures when they get on your site they are competent in the task that they are carrying out. Because at the end of the day, staff on your site or in your project represent our business.

Training at every level!
Whether it is about refresher training or teaching people that have been in the industry for many years, we make sure that our staff go through a effective training process. Working techniques are changing and we need to make sure that we are always cleaning to the most effective standards.

We take pride in the fact that our staff are skilled at cleaning. Training is a huge piece of what we do and at any time anyone is welcome to ask for training records of the staffs that are working on your site or your project. JCD Cleaning will happily send them over to you as references in case you need to verify the training that we go through.
